Meet our Leaders

Thomas Payne — Chairman

Proving an unwavering passion for finance, Tom first focused his entrepreneurial ambitions for commercial lending and equipment funding options during his several years working with Wells Fargo’s correspondent banking division. Combining that passion with an expert skill level for portfolio growth and lending strategies, Tom was soon appointed as assistant vice president for Citizens Independent Bank.

Recognizing an opportunity to tap an under-utilized market, Tom founded Northpoint Commercial Credit in 2005, personally generating millions in business loans and leases. As Chair of CU Equipment Finance, he seeks to streamline the commercial equipment funding process, giving credit unions a hassle-free way to be competitive in new lending opportunities.

Kevin Peterson — President

With more than 20 years of financial, operational and credit oversight, Kevin has comprehensive experience in retail, community and commercial lending, complex structuring, credit analysis, and underwriting. As President of CU Equipment Finance, Kevin is focused on strategic planning and growth of the organization along with corporate governance, financial controls and operational development.

He served as an Executive Officer and Senior Vice President at a $300+ million banking institution in Rock Island, Illinois. During his tenure, he implemented countless programs that resulted in improved efficiencies including a core banking platform conversion, asset liability management program, and infrastructure to manage secondary mortgage market. He also served as CFO for a $1B+ credit union in Moline, Illinois, to help build out corporate governance and financial controls. Most recently he owned his own consulting business focused on the credit union and banking industries.

Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration as well as Bachelor of Business degree in finance from Western Illinois University. Additionally, he completed the Graduation School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Ted Sirianni — Chief Lending Officer

Ted has been in the finance industry for over 20 years, with 16 of those years in banking and commercial lending, most recently service as Market President for Financial Security Bank.

Ted takes an open-minded and entrepreneurial approach to help businesses grow and flourish. When others say 'no' he seeks a solution that works for the customer and lender that may be mutually beneficial and creates a path forward.

Ted holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American University along with completing the Minnesota Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and is a graduate of the Minnesota Bankers Association Leadership Development Academy.

Greg Luedke — Senior Vice President

Beginning Greg’s career as a banker provided him the opportunity to interact with a variety of businesses through relationship building and engagement. In turn, this led him to focus on helping companies benefit from strategic financing solutions in both conventional and atypical environments. Regardless of the financing solution, he believes there is quantifiable room for improvement. His commitment and values are to continually enhance the client experience based on these 4 pillars:

Greg is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN.

Olivia Pelham — Controller

With more than 14 years of accounting experience, Olivia has extensive knowledge of for-profit and non-profit accounting including direct private industry, public accounting and tax accounting.

She served as Accounting Supervisor for Honkamp Krueger for over a decade focusing on financial statement preparations, payroll, sales tax and software administration and conversions. Olivia also has several years of bank operations experience along with FP&A.

Olivia holds a Master of Business Administration as well as Bachelor of Business degree in finance from Western Illinois University.

Though backed by decades of financial industry experience, we look to always offer novel and progressive lending options that support the needs of organizations of all types and sizes.
